Carnival -
The Heart and Spirit of the people.
Trinidad
& Tobago's Carnival is known the world over for its display of
creativity in the form of costume, song, dance and steel pan music. We
call this Art in Motion!
The
Caribbean Zone is a replica of a traditional Trinidad Carnival Village
wherein art, culture and cuisine is recreated in your setting.
Throughout the year, we participate in community parades and events
featuring the Caribbean Zone Masquerade dancers and Steel Groove II
Steel Pan band. In 2000 and again in 2001, we received the "Best
Costume Award" for our costume presentation in the Fiesta Bowl Parade
in Phoenix, Arizona. We have participated in the Annual MLK Day Parade
in Las Vegas, Nevada and Phoenix, Arizona as well as Maryvale Pride
Parade, the City of Glendale Parade of Nations and the City of Tolleson
Whoopee Daze Parade where we again received the top award of "Best of
Parade."
